  • Are you interested in learning how to make the best use of those GPX files you can download with a geocaching.com premium membership?
  • Would you like to set up geocache databases and filters?
  • Do you like Bratwurst and Schnitzels? How about Pilsner?

An event will be held in the Weinkeller of the German Club from 6pm to 830pm on Tuesday 20 September 2016.  There is an opportunity to have a meal and discussion from 6pm to 730pm.  Eating and drinking are optional.

What you should do.

  • In order to be able to use GSAK effectively for geocaching, it is best to have a premium membership from geocaching.com.
  • It is recommended that you download GSAK beforehand. Visit gsak.net and download it off the home page. The latest release is version 8.6.1. GSAK is free to use but after 21 days you will get a nag screen which can only be removed by registering the program for a one off fee.
  • Sure you can bring your laptop. 240V power will not be available so your laptop should be able to run for an hour on battery.  A wifi connection would be useful but not essential.
