Salmo trutta Traditional Cache

On any given year, there are couples of eagles living on and around Swan Island; some of them raise chicks, maintaining nests that have been used for years. We once had a 3,000 pound nest fall out of one of our trees! The eagles fish in the river, but will also sometimes take trout out of our kids' fishing pond: you never know where you might see one!

For part of the hike in, you'll be on our dirt road, and for another part of it, you'll be on one of our trails. The cache is an old ammo box, surrounded by stones.
