Join us again for some GeoChat, upstairs in the Rhubarb Shed Café, Sheffield Manor Lodge on Saturday 15th October between 12noon and 2pm. Everyone is welcome!
The café offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, hot food and cakes for those wishing to eat. There is an outside dog-friendly seating area with a covered area to shelter should it rain! The facilities are child friendly and offer disabled access on the ground floor. Free off-street parking is available both at the geogathering and at the Discovery Centre.
There will be a log book for you to sign, and a container for discovering, dropping off, picking up and swapping Travel Bugs and Geocoins.
Afterwards why not try and solve the Manor Mystery Wherigo, or simply have a look around the area, discover the Tudor ruins, take in the views over Sheffield, or meet the animals that live on the farm including Big Lad the working horse and Rosie and Lily, the donkey’s that share his stable. There are pigs, rabbits, ducks, hens and bees too!
So come and join Marky1981 and SimeyBop for an afternoon of caching chatter and a trip to the Manor!
