Morfee Mountain is a well known landmark in Mackenzie BC. The road to the top is drivable in the summer and early fall, come winter though, this a great area to go snowmobiling!
There are great places to stop all along this road, some have breathtaking views! Please take care in stopping, this is a narrow road and popular with the locals.
Most of the caches I have placed along this road are small bison tubes so don’t forget to bring a pen!
These caches are not accessible by car or truck in the winter.
This cache is a small camouflaged lock n lock container containing a log book and a $5 timmies card for the FTF.
Located at the first tower on top of morfee mountain there are still plenty of views! you can see all of Mackenzie and a portion of Williston lake. if you are feeling adventurous head over to "Williston View" to take in the beauty of our little town and surrounding area.
To get to this Cache a 4x4 is advised. it can be accessed by snowmobile in the winter but it is low down so might end up covered in snow.
