One hot Sunday I was walking down the street minding my own business when all of a sudden, two small creatures were standing right in front of me. “AAHH!” I screamed. “Who…what…?” After recovering my wits, I noticed they were only about half of my height, with pointy ears, and they were wearing tunics, cone-shaped hats, and soft leather shoes. “Who are you?” I asked. “We are cache elves,” they stated in high-pitched voices. “OOHH!” I screamed, frozen in fear. The elves smiled and said, “Why do you scream? Do not be afraid. We live deep in the woods, but have traveled here on a mission, to scoop up good cheer. We just hid a sweet surprise over there, behind you.” I turned and looked where they indicated, but didn’t notice anything unusual, and when I turned back to ask them, the two elves had melted away into the distance. Now after all that screaming, I can’t remember where they pointed. Can you help me find what they left here?
