Geocache Description:

Micro beside trail in McLaughlin Eastshore State Park. BYOP. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. No dogs allowed. Bikes not allowed in meadow. Park hours: 5 am to 10 pm.

Wasps have been reported near the cache. Be cautious and don't put your hand anywhere you cannot see.

You must sign or stamp log to claim find.

MESP, also known as the Berkeley Meadow, is the former Berkeley landfill site and before that, bay fill. Since the landfill closed, much effort has been spent in creating a habitat for native species of plants and animals. Share in your log what species you have seen here.

Plenty of parking along University Avenue and Marina Boulevard, very limited parking in one spot along Frontage Road.

Exercise stealth.
