Geocache Description:

Welcome to Swarthout Lakeside park located right off highway 16 and 162 in West Salem, enjoy the view of the lake from the cache location.

Welcome to Swarthout Lakeside park located on the west end of Lake Neshonoc near the dam that has created the lake. The park has a shelter, the only public beach on the lake and a boat landing.

This cache was place for the It's been a Dandy of a summer Jim! 2016 event held nearby.

The Hide: You will searching for a peanut butter jar hidden alongside the lake, the grass is mowed to the cache except for the last 10 feet which is on a hillside leading down to the lake.
