Naše morje
...je nekaj prekrasnega in za vse nas nekaj zelo pomembnega. Daje nam hrano, daje nam vreme, daje nam »kruh« in daje nam življenje. Zato ga moramo paziti, še posebej zato, ker ga imamo tako zelo malo!
Kot Primorca, sva v glavnem obalnem mestu vsaj enkrat tedensko – službeno ali v prostem času, Koper je vedno lep. Veliko je zanimivih kotičkov, bolje ali slabše poznanih in obiskanih. Tale košček ob morju nama je bil všeč že prvič, ko sva se sprehodila mimo. Ko pa sva spoznala zakaj in s kakšnim sporočilom je bilo tole »platno« poslikano, naju je to še bolj navdušilo.
Podlaga te ulične umetnine je pristaniško skladišče nedaleč stran od koprskega potniškega terminala. Nastala je junija 2011 pod čopiči in valjčki madžarskih pouličnih umetnikov, kot dogodek ob zaključku madžarskega predsedovanja EU. Ker je Koper »okno« v svet za številne države centralne Evrope, je varstvo morja pomembno za vse, ki so z njim tako ali drugače povezani! Sporočilo mladih umetnikov je bilo - morje moramo vsi varovati in ohranjati, sicer bo samo odstranilo tisto, kar ga moti! In ker je to sporočilo tako blizu geocaching kulturi, sva postavila tale zakladek, da bi se vsak ob najdbi malo zamislil ;-)
Ni potrebe po uporabi sile - ne za odkrivanje niti za ponovno skrivanje.

Our sea
... is something wonderful and very important to all of us. It gives us food, it gives us weather, it gives us “our daily bread” and it gives us life. Therefore, we should cherish it … and we, Slovenian people, should care for it so much more, since we have so little of it!
We find ourselves in Koper quite often – either fun or business, Koper is always nice. There are a lot of interesting spots, some better some less known. This particular part of Koper caught our attention already on our first visit, but when we got to know the full story behind it, we got to love it even more.
The "canvas" for this street art is a port warehouse, close to the Koper cruise terminal. It was created in June 2011 under the brushes of Hungarian street artists, as an event for finishing the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the EU. Since Koper is a “window” into the world for many countries of Central Europe, the protection of the sea falls on everyone that are connected to it in any way. The message that young artists tried to communicate was: the sea must be protected and preserved by all of us, or else it will remove what disturbs it! And since this message is so close to geocaching culture, we placed this box, so anyone who finds it, will take a minute to think about this ;-)
