De omgeving
Deze omgeving rondom Dwingeloo is een uitstekende plek om te fietsen of te wandelen, of om een lekker rondje te hardlopen. Het zandpad hier verbindt de Lheeweg met de Zuiderweg, beide komen uit in Lhee. Als je de Lheeweg blijft volgen kom je uit bij Hotel de Borken, een gezellig café en hotel tussen Dwingeloo en Lhee. Volg je het zandpad en daarna linksaf de Zuiderweg, dan kom je uit in Lhee, waar zich het gezellige restaurant De Bospub bevindt (aanrader!). Een stukje verder in Lhee is een prachtig wandelgebied, en daar vindt men ook de Dwingeloo Radiotelescoop. Daarnaast zijn hier in de omgeving talloze campings om eens lekker een weekendje te camperen.
De Lheeweg, de Zuiderweg en het zandpad zijn onderdeel van de vele prachtige fietsroutes hier in de omgeving. Mocht je hier een rondje willen fietsen, dan is dit een uitstekend plekje om even stil te staan, een cache te zoeken, en eens even te genieten van de omgeving.
De cache
De cache is een klein, rond, transparant potje met een groene dop. Een pen of potlood is niet inbegrepen. Parkeren kan bij camping Doortenshof, ongeveer 50 meter verderop. Als er iets mis is, laat me weten.

The environment
This area here, in and around Dwingeloo, is a beautiful place to cycle, hike or to do a bit of jogging. This dirt road over here connects the Lheeweg (the road you're standing next to right now) with the Zuiderweg (the parallel road at the other side of the fields), and both end in Lhee. If you follow the Lheeweg, you will eventually find Hotel de Borken, a nice and cozy cafe and hotel between Dwingeloo and Lhee. If you follow the dirt road and go left on the Zuiderweg, then you end up in Lhee where you can find the cozy and high-quality restaurant De Bospub. A bit further in Lhee there is a beautiful forest where hiking is possible, here you can also find the Dwingeloo Radio Observatory. Next to that you can find countless campings here in this area, where you can have a stay in this nice and beautiful area.
The Lheeweg, the Zuiderweg and the dirt road here are part of many beautiful cycling routes here in the environment. If you'd like to cycle around here, then this is an excellent place to take a break, to find a cache and to enjoy the environment a bit.
The cache
The cache is a small, round, transparent container with a green cap. A pen or pencil is not included. Parking is possible at camping Doortenshof, only 50 meters away. If there's something wrong, let me know.
