A nice wee cache and dash but a challenge not to get muggled. There is a local whose house looks onto this cache who knows it's there so don't worry if you glance at a house with a person waving at you!
The first in a series of caches for Phyllis McCrae. A lovely born and bred Penicuik lassie who lost a battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme (a very aggressive form of brain tumour) earlier this year. These caches are put in places that Phyllis loved and that meant something to her. This cache is slightly cryptic as Phyllis wouldn't want us putting down something obvious....she was a lover of all things quirky and fun. This cache is located at her house where her husband Jim will happily give you a wave when you discover this if he’s in.. phyllis started Geocaching but sadly her Cache adventures were cut far too short. Her daughter, granddaughters and daughter-in-law are now very active Geocachers! This cache is placed by her family and will be maintained by them. While you visit, pause and have wee think about all those who continue to fight cancer every day and those researching for new treatments and cures.
