El meteoríto de Cayey es una enorme roca que cayó del monte cercano a la Carretera #1, provocando una obstrucción total de esta importante vía, hoy conocida como una de las mejores rutas para el chinchorreo. Fue colocada a la orilla de la carretera y unos ciudadanos la pintaron y le pusieron brillo, dando la impresión de que se trata de un meteorito. Es un buen "park and grab" y está en camino a otros cachés en Aibonito y Cayey. NOTA: Los fines de semana se estacionan en este lugar vendedores de plantas y frutas, por lo que no es recomendable hacer la búsqueda en esos días.

The Cayey meteorite is an enormous rock that fell from the nearby mountain to PR-1 road, causing the obstruction of traffic on this important road, now known as one of the best routes for stopping at small cafes. It was placed on the side of the road and someone painted it and added glitter, making it look like a meteorite. It is a good park and grab, and is on the way to other nice caches in Aibonito and Cayey. NOTE: On weekends there are plants and fruits vendors parked in this area, so it is not a good idea to look for the cache during those days.
