[ITA] Il complesso di Santa Maria degli Angeli, costituito dalla chiesa di Sant'Angelo e dall'annesso convento che si trova sulla sua destra, è oggi la sede milanese dell'Ordine dei frati minori osservanti di San Francesco, fin dalla sua fondazione avvenuta il 21 febbraio 1552.
A Milano esisteva già nel XIII secolo una chiesa dedicata a Sant'Angelo, che nel corso del Quattrocento divenne la sede dell'Ordine francescano. La chiesa dovette essere abbattuta alla metà del Cinquecento per l'erezione della nuova cerchia di mura decisa dal comandante militare spagnolo Ferrante I Gonzaga, che ordinò quindi la costruzione dell'attuale edificio in sostituzione del precedente, ad opera dell'architetto militare di fiducia del Gonzaga, il fiorentino Domenico Giunti
CURIOSITA'
A Milano esistono ancora tre fontane di acqua solforosa (detta acqua marcia) un tempo ritenuta un toccasana per la salute. Sono accomunate dalla forma ottagonale e si trovano, dalla periferia verso il centro, nello spartitraffico di viale Piceno, all’altezza del numero 17 (trasferita in Piazza Emilia) in piazza Sant’Angelo, sul sagrato dell’omonima chiesa, e nel parco Sempione, nei dintorni dell’arena.
La fontana di piazza Sant’Angelo fu arricchita, nel 1926 dal gruppo bronzeo “San Francesco che predica agli uccelli" su progetto di Giannino Castiglioni (1884-1971) stimato scultore meneghino, autore di molte opere funerarie presso il cimitero monumentale e della Porta dedicata a S.Ambrogio del Duomo di Milano.
Il posto è molto bello.. un sagrato ampio e una statua fontana dedicata a San Francesco che è molto tenera da vedere.
Il cache
Il cache dedicata è nascosta in un adiacente struttura porta albero. Era una cache particolare composta da un log metallico quindi portatevi una penna adatta (vanno bene le penne indelebili). Adesso è una nuova cache micro normale. Portatevi comunque una penna!

CURIOSITY'
In Milan there are still three sulphurous water fountains (called water running) once considered a panacea for health. They are united by the octagonal shape and are found, from the periphery towards the center, in the boulevard median Piceno, at number 17 (Now temporary in Piazza Emilia), in Piazza Sant'Angelo, in the churchyard of the church, and Sempione Park on the outskirts of ' arena.
The Sant'Angelo square fountain was embellished in 1926 by a bronze "San Francisco group that preaches to the birds" design by Giannino Castiglioni (1884-1971) estimated Milanese sculptor, author of many funeral works at the monumental cemetery and the dedicated port to St. Ambrose of Milan Cathedral.
The place is very nice .. a large square and a fountain statue of St. Francis who is very tender to see.
the cache
The dedicated cache is hidden in an adjacent structure shaft . The first model was a particular cache consists of a metal log so bring a pen suitable ( are fine indelible pens ). Now the new one is a simple micro cache. Bring your pen the same.
