After years of debate, the Tugun to Bilinga foreshore has been opened to the public. Previously private access only, in 2014 saw beachfront residents clash with council and local community groups. There is a now a public walking path along the beach with debate on whether or not to build an oceanway for cyclists still ongoing.
The cache is on public land, watch out for muggles especially during the summer months.
