This is the thirteenth and last of a weekly series dedicated to Bagpuss. Episode thirteen was first broadcast at 1:45 pm on Tuesday 7th May, in the same year as the other episodes.
Synopsis:
When Emily brings back an apparent scrap of cloth, the mice identify it as a house for a rag doll. Using the cloth as a thinking cap, Bagpuss thinks of the story of Uncle Feedle, who built a rag house then turned it inside out so that it could be stuffed with cotton wool and stay up, and he would still be able to access the inside. The mice and Madeleine then sing a song about where they live, before they stuff the house with cotton wool and drag it to the window.
