Geocache Description:

This Cache is the second of 3 on a short circular walk near Tallentire village.

This is a nano-cache.  You should be able to park close by, but please make sure you don't block the field gates.

Watch out for muggles - the cache has gone missing several times so please don't give it away!

You'll need to bring your own pen, and tweezers to get the log out would be a good idea!

Tallentire means "land (or world)'s end" in old Cumbrian.  Tallentire is a farming and residential village, with its own pub. There are a few dog walkers on this route, so beware of muggles!

When there isn't Cumbrian rain, you can see straight across the Solway over to Scotland.  The biggest hill you can see is Criffel, and in the evening you can see the lights of Kirkcudbright across in Scotland.  Occasionally you can see Northern lights from here too!
