This cache is inside Shearer Cemetery off of North Terrirorial Road. BYOP. Park on the side of North Territorial road or in the subdivison nearby. Only search in the cemetery. Also cache may not be a winter friendly if we get enough snow. Since this is in a cemetery do not cache in the night, and follow all of the spirit quest rules.

Shearer Cemetery is named after a family who is buried here among many other families. This cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Plymouth! And is also quite a beautiful one too. This Cemetery was abandoned for many years following the last burial in 1898. That is why when you come here there are only a few visible gravestones as many others have detiorated. But this is also because in 1956 many of the remains here were moved to riverside cemetery. Again after this last event it was left abandoned. Until Salem high school came here and built it back up from the ruins that were left behind. Putting gravestones back up, making nice paths, and just making the cemetery look nice! Now this is one of the most peaceful unique places in town. Sit down on the bench and look above at the small patch of trees inbetween modern suburbia and think back at the lives of the people who are buried here.
