Grmov, vojni lost place
Nakon izlaska iz mjesta Grmov, put se strmo i vijugavo uspinje. Nakon otprilike 800m stiže se na mali plato, lijevo od puta, nekad korišten u vojne svrhe. Izvidnice i ulazi u bunkere su dugo napušteni, ostavljajući ih kao odlično mjesto za piknik sa prekrasnim pogledom na Jadransko more, kao i na vrh Televrin na otoku Lošinju. Otoci Zeča i Unije također će stvoriti veličanstvenu pozadinu za vašu pauzu.
Objekti koje vidite oko sebe su vojni bunkeri. Da budemo precizni, to su protuavionski položaji sa podzemnim bunkerima. Po našem saznanju, postoji 6 protuavionskih položaja i jedan komandni bunker sa MG stalkom. Protuavionski položaji se sastoje od betonskog kruga sa prilazom za vozilo. Svim položajima s lijeva se nalazi bunker za municiju, a desno bunker za vojnike sa ventilacijskim otvorom. U sredini je bio protuavionski top kamufliran mrežama.
Komandno mjesto sadrži betonski toranj za strojnicu. Stepenice vode u 3 podzemne prostorije.
Nije jasno kada su ovi objekti bili izgrađeni.
Sigurno znamo da su bili korišteni do 80ih godina od jugoslavenske vojske. Čini se da su bili aktivno korišteni na početku, a kasnije za vojne vježbe.
Na otoku Cresu su se do početka 90ih održavale godišnje vojne vježbe rezervista.
Nije jasno da li je objekte izgradila jugoslavenska vojska. Također je moguće da su već bili izgrađeni u 40im godinama od talijanske armije.
Cijelo područje kvarnerskog zaljeva pripadalo je Italiji između prvog i drugog svjetskog rada.
Tek nakon toga je nastala multietnička država Jugoslavija.
Grmov, military lost place
Following the path out of Grmov, the elevation begins to steepen. Meanwhile the path takes several twists and turns. 800M in, you will reach a small plateau, formerly used for military purposes, which is located to the left of the path. The observation posts and entrances to the bunkers have long been abandoned making them a great spot for a picnic. You will have a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea, as well as of Mount Televrina on the Island of Losinj. The Islands Zeca and Unije will also create a breathtaking backdrop for your break.
The structures you see around you are military buildings. They are flak posts with subterranean bunkers to be exact. To our knowledge there are six flak posts and one commando bunker with an MG-stand. The flak posts are composed of one round cement circle and a structure for vehicular access. To the left of each post is a bunker for the ammunition and to the right there is a bunker for the soldiers with a ventilation system. There used to be a flak gun in the center, which was camouflaged using nets. The commando stand contains a cement tower for a machine cannon. Steps lead into three underground rooms. It is not clear when all these structures were built. Yet we know for a fact that they were used until the 80s by Yugoslavian army. It seems they were used actively in the beginning and later for military drills. On the island of Cres reservist drills were held annually until the early 90s. It remains unclear if the structures were in fact built by the Yugoslavian army. It is also possible they were already built in the 40s by the Italian military. The whole Kvarner Bay area belonged to Italy between first world war and second world war. It was only afterwards that the multi-ethnic stat Yugoslavia was established.
Grmov, militärischer lost place
Nach dem Ortsausgang Grmov steigt der Weg in Kurven leicht an. Nach ca.800m erreichen wir links des Weges ein kleines Plateau, das früher für militärische Zwecke benutzt wurde. Jetzt sind die Beobachtungsposten und Bunkereingänge verlassen. Der Ort ist als Picknickplatz zu empfehlen, denn von hier aus haben wir eine weite Sicht auf das adriatische Meer und in südlicher Richtung auf den Gipfel Televrina der Insel Losinj, sowie auf die Inseln Zeca und Unije.
Es handelt sich hier um Militäranlagen, genauer gesagt um unterbunkerte Flakstellungen. Unseres Wissens sind es sechs Flakstellungen und ein Kommandobunker mit MG- Stand. Die Flakstellungen bestehen aus einem runden Betonkreis mit Zufahrt. Auf der linken Seite unter der Erde ist je ein Monitionsbunker und rechts ein Mannschaftsbunker mit Belüftung. In der Mitte stand ein Flakgeschütz, das mit Netzen getarnt wurde. Der Kommandostand ist mit einem Betonturm für eine Maschinenkanone ausgestattet. Es führt eine Treppe in 3 unterirdische Räume.
Es ist unklar, aus welcher Zeit die Anlage stammt. Sicher ist, dass sie bis in die 80er Jahre von der jugoslawischen Armee militärisch genutzt wurde, zunächst wohl aktiv, später dann zu Übungszwecke. Auf der Insel Cres fanden bis Anfang der 90er Jahre jedes Jahr Reservistenübungen statt. Es ist nicht sicher, ob sie auch von der jugoslawischen Armee gebaut worden ist. Es kann auch sein, dass sie bereits in den 40er Jahren von der italienischen Armee gebaut worden sind. Das gesamte Gebiet der Kvarner Bucht gehörte vom Ende des I.Weltkrieges bis zum Ende des II.Weltkrieges zu Italien. Erst danach kam es zum Vielvölkerstaat Jugoslawien.
