Tupiku Traditional Geocache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Pohatu Nuva: Hello,

Please visit the site to make sure that everything is in order- logbook is dry, there is plenty of space in a logbook, all trackables in inventory are in the cache, camouflage is OK.
Please enable your cache within 30 days to avoid it being archived due to unresponsiveness. If you don't plan to enable your cache you can archive it yourself to make space for new caches.

As always, if there are any objective reasons why you can't renew your cache (self carantine, waiting for supplies for container, place is closed, migrating birds etc.) please post a Write Note log and I will postpone archiving.

Happy geocaching!

Geocache Description:

Aare on peidetud raudtee lähistele. Algselt sõjalise otstarbega raudtee avati liikluseks 1913.a. suvel, teenindamaks Peeter Suure merekindlust. Hiljem hakati seda kasutama ka ühistranspordiks. Raudtee suleti 1959. aastal reisjate vähesuse tõttu. Tänapäeval on siin kergliiklustee Rahumäelt Harkusse. Kui jalutate üle Pärnu mnt, mööda kergliiklusteed edasi jääb vasakule silt, millel on ka kirjas informatsiooni raudtee ja viadukti ajaloo kohta. Vaadet saab nautida viaduktil.

Aare asub kungise raudtee kõrval. Veidi teelt kõrvale. Aare on väike metallkarp.

NB! Aeda pole vaja minna.

The treasure is hidden somewhat close to the railway. Originally the railway was opened in summer of 1913 to serve Peter the Great's naval fortress. After that, it was used for public transport. Railway was closed in 1959 because there weren't enough passengers. Today it's a light traffic road from Rahumäe to Harku. If you walk over the Pärnu mnt, on light traffic road, you can see a sign on your left, what presents more history about the railway and the overpass. You can enjoy the view on the overpass.

Cache is on the next to the former railway, a little bit off the road. The cache is little metallic box.

NB! You don't need to go in the garden.
