Geocache Description:

Sateseles canyon is a beautiful place, that everyone should see and check out.

[LV]

Iedomājieties, ka jūs uz to skataties. Tajā virzienā, priekšā apmēram 3 metru attālumā ir koks, aiz kura ir vēlviens koks, apmēram 3 metru attālumā, kurā ir Slēpnis!

The cache is hidden close to Satesele canyon, where large sand-rocks standing menacingly around the bridge, that goes over a stream, what has carved this canyon. In years this stream has created not only the ravine, but also a large sand-canyon, which is in pretty amazing size. Canyon is located right next to Satesele hill, where was located Dabreļa castle, which was destroyed in 1212, when Liv and Latgalians joined the fight against the Germans, who were forcibly taken away indigenous lands and bee trees. Dabrelis, that was consistent German opponent, and successfully defended Satesele 1206, was dead after the great plague Estonian Turaida invasion in 1211. Satezele, treacherously broadcast arrows caught, fell well Satekles county ruler Rūsiņš which chronicles called the most brave between Latgale. German dominance and superiority of armor, Sateselians forced to give up

So the cache "Sateseles Canyon" is a cache, where you have to follow the checkpoints in the forest, until you will get to the final location (the cache itself). The start is right in the middle of the bridge, where the coordinates should bring you. What do you have to do: You have to follow the directions in the following description below and find a tree with a small, red dot on the tree (The dot is not visble from the last tree, so you have to look all around the tree). I recommend you to spot and find the next tree while you are beside the red dot, that way you won't have any chance getting lost. To find this cache you will have to have a compass or you can just use your phone.

Start - The middle of the bridge.

1. - 230 degrees, 20 meters (by horizontal meters). From the bridge, you have to spot and find a pretty large size tree with an intresting bark texture.

2. - 180 degrees, 15 meters (by horizontal again). About the same size tree.

3. - 295 degrees, 30 meters. The same size tree as the last one.

4. - 190 degrees, 10 meters.

5. - 225 degrees, 20 meters. Big, large pine.

6. - 260 degrees. First large tree, that you see, when you look in that direction, with a trunk like S letter. The trunk is not growing straight in a line.

7. - 245 degrees. Big, large tree, what you see first, when you look in that direction.

8. - 230 degrees. Huge, old birch.

9. - 20 degrees, 15 meters. A tree with a trunk that is very bent close to the ground. J.

Final - Stand beside the tree and look in the direction, where the canyon is at. Imagine, that you are looking at it, but you can't see it. In that direction, there is an another tree (about 3 meters away) Behind that tree, there is another one (about 3 meters in the same direction). In that tree, is the cache!
