In October 2014 a mangrove restoration project was undertaken in this area. Today thousands of Flamingos flock here to enjoy a feast of brine shrimp, algae, crustaceans and aquatic plants within these shallow mangroves.
This cache is located about 5km minutes from the port of Progreso, a popular beach destination for cruise ships and domestic tourists.
You will be looking for a small cylinder container that holds a log book and small prizes. Remember to bring a pencil or pen to write with. Please re-hide this cache carefully and away from view.
