2.-La Bóveda del Palacete

Cada vez que pasamos frente a esta singular vivienda nos preguntamos cómo sería la vida de quienes pudieron habitarla.
Desde que ARchie salió de su selva tropical para dedicarse a la vida académica, siempre ha anhelado una casota como ésta, con un patio/jardín/bosque como éste y poder pasar del 'moneo' al estudio en un plis-plas.
Y es por ese anhelo que hemos querido dar a conocer esta joya oculta de la arquitectura valenciana.
"El Palacete Burgos" o "La Casa del Médico" son los nombres con los que se conoce a esta singular vivienda. Estos nombres le han sido otorgados por sus habitantes a lo largo de su dilatada historia:
Doña María Burgos Romero, la "madre" de la casa, que la vio nacer y habitó durante los primeros años.
Don Isidro Álvarez Souto, médico que ejercía en Padre Porta ubicado al final de la misma Av. del Puerto.
Y posteriormente la habitó el, también médico, Don José María Aragón (yerno de D.Isidoro)
Los techos altos, las vidrieras y sus galerías son los elementos característicos propios del palacio y le aportan gran cantidad de luz y calidez.
¿Sabíais que lleva ahí plantada 93 añazos?
Por lo visto, al cumplir los 83 ya no podían cuidar de ella y la han mandado a la residencia del mercado inmobiliario. Si tienes tres milloncitos en calderilla te puedes hacer con este pisito.

Aunque nada tiene que ver con el edificio descrito, en la parte posterior encontramos una pequeña nave que corresponde a una antigua fabrica que llevaba por nombre "Viuda de Olmos y Cia" y que queda en este lugar como recuerdo de una época ya pasada, enmarcada en el paisaje de un jardín infantil.
Ya hemos aprendido un poco de historia, visto la casa y apreciado algunas de sus peculiaridades.
Ahora... al lío....
[EL CASO:]
Como recordaréis, hace algún tiempo ARchie había perdido su volúmen de La Gran Enciclopedia del Plátano de Canarias y gracias a vuestra inestimable ayuda, pudo recuperarlo.
Pues bien, dentro de la enciclopedia ha encontrado un documento antiguo de la oficina de catastro donde está documentada una reforma al palacete para añadir una habitación que nadie conoce.
También hay una nota que indica que la llave ha sido escondida en el perímetro de la casa. Pero quien tenía que recogerla nunca apareció, y la llave se ha quedado ahí durante muchos años.
¿Nos ayudas a conseguirla?
[EL CACHÉ:]
Es un caché Tradicional, por tanto SÍ se encuentra en las coordenadas listadas.
No obstante, dado el secretismo de la bóveda y para evitar intromisiones indiscretas, se ha ocultado con un mecanismo de seguridad.
Para acceder a la llave tendrás que equiparte debidamente con una pila de 9v, ir a la zona cero y con la mayor de las discreciones activar el mecanismo y esperar el caché. (Hay imagen explicativa en caso de necesitarla)

Every time we come across this particular house we wonder how would be the life of those who have spent their lives in it.
Since ARchie came out from his tropical jungle to pledge his live to academic world, always wanted a big house like this one, with a yard/garden/forest like this one, and be able to switch between 'swinging trees' to study in a clic.
And because of that dream he wanted you to meet this hidden jewel of valentian architecture.
"El Palacete Burgos" or "La Casa del Médico" are the names with which this unique home is known. These names have been given to it by its inhabitants throughout its long history:
Ms. María Burgos Romero, the "mother" of the house, who saw the birth of the house and inhabited it for the firsts years.
Mr. Isidro Álvarez Souto, doctor whose practice took place at Padre Porta's Especialists Center located at the end of the Puerto Avenue.
After him it was inhabited by, also doctor, Mr. José María Aragón (Mr.Isidoro's son in law)
The high ceilings, the stained glass windows and their galleries are the characteristic elements of the palace and bring a lot of light and warmth.
Did you know this house has been 'still & stood' for 93 years?
Apparently, when it turned 83 they could no longer take care of it and sent it to the residence of the real estate market. If you have three million spare coins in your pocket you can keep this cabin for yourself.

Although nothing has to do with the described building, in the back we find a small ship that belonged to an old factory that was named "Widow of Olmos y Cia" and that remains in this place as a reminder of a past time, framed in the landscape of a kindergarten.

[THE CASE:]
As you know, sometime ago ARchie had lost his copy of The Great Encyclopedia of the Canary Islands's Banana and thanks to your inestimable help, he was able to recover it.
Well, within the encyclopedia has found an old document of the cadastral office where a reform is documented to the palace to add a room that nobody knows about.
There is also a note indicating that the key has been hidden in the perimeter of the house. But whoever had to pick it up never appeared, and the key has stayed there for many years.
Can you help us get it?
[THE CACHE:]
It is a Traditional cache, so IT IS in the listed coordinates.
However, given the secrecy of the chamber and to avoid intruding intrusions, it has been hidden with a security mechanism.
To access the key you will have to properly equip yourselves with a 9v batery, go to ground zero and, with the greatest discretion, activate the mechanism and wait for the cache. (There is an explanatory image, in case you need it). Please, DO NOT FORCE the cache, it goes up an down by itself when you correctly aproach the battery.
[The positive pole indicates direction. Place positive in the lower bold, and get the cache. After signing, turn around the battery and place the positive in the upper bold, the cache hid]
