Geocache Description:

adventure and views.

There are two entrances to the quarry. The first entrance as you climb the mountain is the one to take. This track leads you to an area ideal for parking, turning or even a picnic. It is also the best access to the cache with it virtually being a park and grab. Refer to waypoint "EP" for coordinates.

I moved to the Bendigo region in May 2015 following the end of an 18 year relationship. I was pretty lonely and when my daughter wasn't with me for the weekend i would go for drives in the surrounds to get to know the region. i stumbled across this disused granite quarry. I loved this place and came back here to just enjoy my own company, the view and imagining how much fun i would have had if I'd had a place like this as a boy. I've since brought my daughter back and even a girlfriend I had a relationship with for 6 months. They both loved it too. So, if you didn't know this place existed, here it is. enjoy.... The cache is a waterproof clip lock Plano container with only a little room for swaps. this is my first cache hiding. Congratulations to Romax for FTF...... Wow that was quick
