Tianshan Park borders West Yan'an Road to the south, the Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway to the east, Tianshan Road to the west, and Changning Parachute Tower to the north. It originally covered an area of 72,000 square meters but this was reduced to the now 68,000 square meters with the construction of Metro Line 3 and West Yan'an Road. Of that, 16,700 square meters is water and 12,400 is grassland. The park is cleverly designed and provides peace and quiet in the bustling city. It includes rockeries, a lake, ponds, and islands etc.
The museum of art is near to the park. It deserves to be visited, the entrance is most of the times free.
