Adding to our current small loop we decided to place for a longer walk if people decided to go a little further. There is parking close by as as this is down a track it is safer for children and dogs. This is also a fantastic place to enter the Thames via boat or kayak.
Parts of the Thanes Path can get flooded at times so please be aware of this. All caches have been placed high enough to miss flood waters. This path can also get muddy during wet months. Although the path is kept well there are still stinging nettles and long grass at points so again please be aware of this. The container is not large enough for TB's or swapables.
