Geocache Description:

"River beach of Sai"

River beach of Styx in the nether. When the dead child to make the tower in stone for the parents, but demons break it, and saved to Jizo Bodhisattva, also gain the stone.

「賽の河原」

冥土(めいど)の三途(さんず)の河原(かわら)。死んだ子供が父母供養のため石を積んで塔を作ると、鬼がそれをこわすが、地蔵菩薩(ぼさつ)に救われてまた石を積むという。
いくら続けても、あとからあとからくずされる、むだな努力のたとえ。

近くの高山寺には「西院（さい）之河原」と書かれた碑があります。
