That's Puzzling Mystery Cache
sierranj97: When this cache was placed it was in a secluded spot. Since then kids have built a bike track near it and it keep getting destroyed so unfortunately we need to archive it.

We can never find enough caches with field puzzles, so we decided to make our own!
The original cache was stolen. A new cache has been placed but final coordinates are different. (New coordinates without degree signs N 33 35.3436' W 117 35.7696'.) The cache is now down off the beaten path and hidden a little better. The log is inside of a box inside of a plastic ammo can. The ammo can is locked, and there are two ways to find the combo. If you have a blacklight, you can find the combo at the waypoint. If you don't have a blacklight, you can figure out the combo from the sentence in the hint.
Before inputting the combo, squeeze the lock (push the silver part into the lock) twice in order to clear it. You have to pull the lock pretty hard to open it, but with the right combo it shouldn't take too much effort.
Please don't force open the puzzle box! Check the hint or message me if you need guidance. The box resets itself once it opens, so just follow the arrows! If you want to sign the log without opening the box or trading with the items in it, then feel free to write your info on a piece of paper and put it through the slit in the top of the box.
Park along Altura, but pay attention to the street signs that tell you when and where you can park. Posted signs say the park is open from dawn until dusk, although there are no gates. The area does attract rattlesnakes (especially in warmer weather) so keep an eye out! Feel free to bring your dog, but be careful walking with your dog to the actual cache. We've brought our dog before and found that there are some plants that easily get stuck in feet and paws.
The ammo can has plenty of space for trade items, so come with things to swap!
The original cache contents are puzzle themed: metal puzzles, a 3D sun puzzle, and puzzle piece TBs.
