We've never really known why this road leading north from town is called Gibson Canyon Road. There's nothing canyon-like about the topography it leads through. But Gibson Cleft just doesn't work, does it? And it's not grand enough to have been named Gibson Valley.
Anyway, this small geocache has a modest amount of swag in it and is hidden near the corner of Gibson Canyon and Vine Street, across from a lodge of fellows who call themselves after that largest species in the deer family, alces alces.
Safe parking is available on Vine.
