TÓMBOLO DE TRAFALGAR

El tómbolo de Trafalgar es un monumento natural que incluye el cabo de Trafalgar y el pequeño istmo que lo une con tierra firme. Se encuentra en Los Caños de Meca, dentro del término municipal de Barbate (Cádiz), y fue declarado monumento natural por la Junta de Andalucía fundamentalmente por su valor geológico.

En geología, se denomina tómbolo a la barra o flecha de tierra firme que siendo de origen sedimentario actúa como istmo que conecta islas u otros terrenos emergentes del mar, entre sí o al continente. Se trata en general de lenguas estrechas de tierra que, a veces, incluso llegan a quedar sumergidas durante algún período de tiempo debido a los fenómenos mareales.

 

Para poder logear este earth tendreis que responder a las siguientes preguntas que encontrareis en el panel del waypoint 1 y donde las coordenades del earth.

 TÓMBOLO DE TRAFALGAR

 

The tombolo of Trafalgar is a natural monument that includes the Cape of Trafalgar and the small isthmus that connects it to the Mainland. It is located in Los Caños de Meca, within the municipality of Barbate (Cádiz), and was declared a natural monument by the Government of Andalusia primarily for its geological value.

In geology, it is called a tombolo at the bar or arrow from the Mainland being sedimentary acts as an isthmus that connects Islands or other land emerging from the sea, or to the Mainland. Is is in general of tongues narrow of Earth that, sometimes, even arrive to stay submerged during some period of time due to the phenomena tidal.
