Giligan's Inception Traditional Cache

You should understand the name once you view the location on the map.

Have you ever watched the movie 'Inception' where the main plot involves entering dreams within dreams?  Have you ever cut into a bell pepper only to find another bell pepper growing within?  I'm sure everyone is familiar with nesting dolls.  This cache location is sort of like that. 

How deep are you willing to go for a geocache?!  Make sure to bring your totem!

Advisory Note: You may notice signs addressing anglers around Lake Wilson. What you may not be aware of is that the laws are written in such a way as to prohibit many other activities on the lake as well. The spirit and intent of the law is designed to protect and manage Hawaii's freshwater fish population. The regulations differ from most other state laws regarding boating and fishing on lakes. This is understandable, considering that this is the only significant freshwater lake on Oahu.

Please be advised that the wording of the law prohibits any person from "entering into or fishing from" the lake without a fishing license, permit, and associated access permit. The operative word here is "or". Additionally, swimming is not allowed in this lake (not sure I would want to swim in this one anyway).

Fishing licenses are $5 (with a $1 processing fee) and entry permits are free. You can get the license and permit online. It takes a few minutes to fill out, then you receive all the forms via email a few seconds later. Print them out or keep your phone with you and you'll have your electronic paperwork with you when you're out on the lake. Permit and license are good for a year. If you dont' want to pay the $1 processing fee you can pick up the permit at any Walmart Sporting Goods counter.

Kayaks, belly boats, float tubes, etc, are permissible water crafts in the lake.
