A multi cache located in the final resting place of our dear friend Ian Mitchell, a.k.a. Inkyfiller.
On September 2, 2016, we attended Inkyfiller's funeral at this beautiful location. When you get a bunch of cachers together near a cemetery, they naturally think of where they could hide a cache, so that is what we did. We already miss Inky's smile and laugh, so if you ever met him, please share a memory of Ian in your log. Geocaching in Eastern Ontario would not be the same without all the hard work and vision that he brought to it.
Ian Bonnar Mitchell - August 28, 1951 - August 27 2016
To find this multi cache, do the following.
1) At the posted location, you will see a plaque with a year in the centre. Call these digits ABCD.
To get to the next point, project a waypoint at (C+D)B meters at (C-A)(C-A)D degrees true.
(Do not multiply, brackets are just another digit.)
2) At your second waypoint, you will be standing at the final resting place of Inkyfiller. The grave marker of his father-in-law, Russell Burton is here as well.
Call the years of Russel's birth and death ABCD-EFGH
The Final can be found at N45 28.A(H-A)D W074 09.(D-A)(D+E)(C-H)
Please be respectful of your surroundings and note that this is still an active church, so govern your searching appropriately.
Please take some time to appreciate the beauty and remember our good friend Ian.
