The Omaka River is mostly ankle deep, but it can be anything from non-existent to knee deep, which makes it a fairly easy walk. At each cache in this series is a way point giving the closest car park, and the terrain rating is based on this. And in deference to W.A.S.P's favourite mode of transport, I have also provided way points for 4WD access in the caches Omaka Railway and Omaka Fennel. But you get minus points if you are using a vehicle!
Summer is the best time to do this series. During summer the water in the river is swapped out for flowering california poppies. Awesome! But weird.
So many options for this style of hide. It's like every willow here either has this problem or is heading there.
