Visit the old platform of Penruddock Railway Station.
Penruddock railway station was situated on the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway. The station served the village of Penruddock and was opened to passenger traffic on 2nd January 1865 and closed on 6th March 1972.
Not much of the old station is left however you can just make out the old loading bank from the path between Station Road and Penruddock.
