Geocache Description:

There are new paths in the park that make the cache accessible all year round; it just gets very muddy in the spring. My favorite route, the direct route, is hard to do in the winter and spring. For those brave enough to go during those times, bring your waders. Bring your own scribble stick. Placed with permission from Village of Howard Parks and Rec. Serves.

Located off the main trail, this hiding spot used to be a favorite for my sister and I to play when we were younger. Revisiting it a couple months ago, the first mate and I thought it'd be a perfect spot for a cache. Using a dirt trail off the main trail is my favorite way to get there, but you can cross the bridges at the beginning of the Hillcrest Heights trailhead and walk through the woods too.
