Reed Brook Traditional Cache

One of a series of caches in the Split Rock Series.

The Split Rock series is a group of 5 caches that will give you pieces of the code required to unlock the Split Rock cache.  This is the third stop on the journey up to Split Rock.  Start by taking the SFT Road off Route 27 and enjoy the views and sights along the way, at intersection 16 of the ATV trails stay to the right and continue up the hill.  The road from intersection 16 up the hill continues to get rougher the higher you go, so for these caches we have upped the terrain rating accordingly.  We'd recommend a high clearance vehicle for this section.  You will be looking for a small cache at this stop and a piece of the 5 letter and number code required to unlock the final cache at Split Rock.  For two of the codes we will tell you the position of the character on the lock, for the others - well you will need to try some various combinations.  The codes letters or numbers have been written on the bottom of the cache and on the inside lid with a sharpie.  Sorry no hints on the code position here either.
