Geocache Description:

I'm vising Ulanbaatar and would like to meet any geocachers that may live in the area. Also, I love steamed dumplings. Buuz, anyone?

Shilmel Buuz

I have read that this place has great buuz, almost as good as homemade--but it can be a bit tricky to find. It's just a red door that opens onto the street. Please join me for some tasty mutton dumplings!

From Lonely Planet:

This small guanz , with plastic tablecloths and bare walls, may not have much atmosphere but it's well known for serving some of the best buuz in the city (nearly homemade quality). Unlike most other cafes, the dumplings here are not overly fatty and come piping hot from a special steamer. Try a few with suutei tsai (Mongolian milk tea). It's the westernmost in a string of five, small restaurants. Look for the picture of the two kids gorging on a big plate of buuz .

Sounds great! I'm up for it! Please join me.
