How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Reedbeds are incredibly important habitats because of all the benefits that they bring to people: improving water quality; reducing flood risk; rich in biodiversity and relaxing places to visit.

Please include any wildlife seen or heard in your logs.

Please bring your own pen & tweezers may be needed for some caches.

Hides, toilets and 2.1m height restriction barier (main car park) are open daily 9am - 4.30pm.

Dogs are welcome on most paths but must be kept under close control at all times. There are no dog waste or litter bins on site, so please take all your rubbish home with you and try not to disturb the animals and plants living here.

Remember your binoculars to help view the landscape and wildlife.

Please note that all caches have been placed with permission from WWT Steart Marshes and The Environment Agency.
