4 Steart Marshes - Orange-tip Butterfly Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Creativeowl: Out this evening checking on the caches in this loop but unfortunately many of the caches were past maintenance & needed archiving, so only a small number of caches remain. Archiving this one as wet inside & with winter coming it was going to be an ongoing problem & although the log was in a film pot within the cache, the lid of the film pot had not been put on properly ..... needs modify before being used again.

Geocache Description:

Flower-rich wetlands can produce natural minerals that are vital for grazing cattle and sheep. The spring flowering cuckoo-flower also attracts wetland insects like the orange-tip butterfly.

Please see 1 Steart Marshes - Common Reed (GC6RF9M) for full details.

Paths are wheelchair accessible but in the winter, after rain may need help with the last 3 metres (approx).

Please note that all caches have been placed with permission from WWT Steart Marshes and The Environment Agency.
