This cache is hidden on Kalispell Island in Priest lake. The best place to start is about a half mile west, which is the day use beach. Here you park your boat and hike around east about a half mile. The closest beach is called North Cove, but this is often inhabited by campers. North cove beach is about a half mile east of the day use beach and just west of cache. Once in the area, urn off the main path toward the center of the island for about 100 yards. FTF=travel bug moose
We chose this spot because we have had decades of summer camping fun at Priest Lake and many have been in Kalispell island. It is unique in that you have to bring a boat to camp and they have porta potties. The trail you will take to get started is about a 3-mile hike around the island and a nice way to spend a morning.
