12 Steart Marshes - Hydrobia Snail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Creativeowl: Out this evening checking on the caches in this loop but unfortunately many of the caches were past maintenance & needed archiving, so only a small number of caches remain. This cache has been archived as it keeps moving from its original hiding place & as this cache cannot be replaced & many other caches in this loop have had to be archived I have decided to take him home & find a new location for him.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Mudflats are naturally teeming with microscopic wildlife such as Hydrobia snails that clean water by filtering out the nutrients. These wild areas are also places to see incredible displays as thousands of birds arrive in these areas during our autumn and winter.

Please see 1 Steart Marshes - Common Reed (GC6RF9M) for full details.

Paths wheelchair accessible but help may be needed to retieve the cache.

Please note that all caches have been placed with permission from WWT Steart Marshes and The Environment Agency.
