Please use the utmost care here, first, with parking-- you will have to pull onto the shoulder and wait for a clear road.
Then please respect the dignity of the deceased, some of who lived about 200 years ago, some go back and were born in the 1700's!
Many of these headstones resemble those of my "Willow Tree Graveyard" cache just up the street, one can only imagine the type of artist who created this lovely organic patten to decorate the stones with. I don't see that kind in many other places.
I researched the meaning behind the Willow Tree and historically, it signified resilience, a bending to and acceptance of the hardships of life. Also of grace, and of sadness, balance, and harmony.
The cache is far to the back, you can even see the creek beyond the graveyard through the trees. It is only 5 or so feet into the wilder area at the edge.
*CONGRATS GO TO BG YO for the FTF!!**
