Geocache Description:

I'm Rick Harrison and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss. Everything in here has a story and a price. One thing I've learned after 21 years - you never know what is gonna come through that door.

This monologue is the intro to the very popular History Channel TV show, Pawn Stars. As the intro says, the show is about Rick and his co-workers who run a pawn shop in Las Vegas, where they assess the historical significance of household artefacts and haggle over its value. However, over the last couple of weeks, the internet has made the show even more popular in a completely absurd way. The crazy minds of the internet decided to make the intro of Pawn Stars into a new popular meme, where people copy/paste the intro monologue into the comment section of many videos and forums. Why is this funny, you ask? Well, I have absolutely no idea, it is the most random joke and makes no sense. However, I thought that in honour of the meme, that I would create a very basic cache that captured the nature of the pawn shop - a small storage of various items where people can trade items with equal or greater value.

This cache is located at the far end of the Mill Creek Oval in close proximity to many other geocaches and multi-cache waypoints, so this cache is definately worth a visit. There is also a very cool "canal like" drain that runs right past this cache, which actually looks surprising cool on close examination - just be careful not to fall in! I suggest parking at the car park on the main street and then taking a very pleasant stroll along the dirt path that surrounds the oval. Please be mindful of dog-walking muggles and the occasional sporting muggles that may use this oval during the week and the weekend. The cache is a small clyindrical sistema container with a logbook, pencil and a few swaps - not nessisarily "pawn shop" style swaps, but close enough!

Enjoy! FTF honours goes to Dragon 1982!
