This cache is located at a hut by the name of Lafranchi's which is in the Wombat State Forrest. Lefranchi's Hut is part of a Heritage Bush walk. In the spring time you will be greeted by the flowering Jonquils then later the grape hyacinths surrounding the hut.
As picturesque as it appears from the outside, the inside has little in the way of comforts except for an open fire. The large open area here is ideal for campsites and has a few walking tracks, some across a small stream to a steep hillside for the energetic.

13/10/2024 UPDATE The track in is a lot more rutted since placement so we recomend a SUV or 4WD on the last 600m or so.
