Geocache Description:

Easy find to commemorate a wonderful person from Adams.

Lucille Davis, my husband's aunt, got us started geocaching. She and Uncle Harry learned about it while they were on a trip to Alaska. One of their guides taught them about the game and Aunt Lucille and Uncle Harry became the caching team High Light. Once when we were visiting, Uncle Harry and Aunt Lucille took us to find out first caches. Although we didn't yet quite understand what was going on, Lucille found the first one, which  was in a cemetery. After finding a couple more, we were hooked. Over the next few years we had many caching adventures with High Light. One of the memorable ones was when Lucille, in her typical fashion, tried the impossible, while in the woods, during a pouring rain. She climbed up a muddy ridge to reach under a ledge to get to the cache. What made it more amazing was that she was wearing white pants and didn't get dirty! This cache is placed in her honor, to remember her indomitable spirit and sense of adventure, and love of trying new things. May you all enjoy the hunt and find of caching as much as we do!

Cache was placed during an early snowstorm, right in keeping with Aunt Lucille's habit of trying things despite difficult conditions! Cache is on private property, but permission has been granted by landowners. Please respect their property.
