Quilt Blocks of Southwest Washington
These Quilt Blocks, or "barn quilts" are large, hand-painted wooden blocks typically displayed on the front or side of a barn. We have been noticing more and more of these popping up on barns and other structures in southwest Washington, so the team, Peas&Corn, mtribe, and verano decided to place some geocaches near them so that you could enjoy seeing them too.
A few things to remember:
1. Some of the Quilt Blocks are on private residential property and operating businesses. Please respect the owner's wishes and adhere to the instructions given on the cache. If you can enter private property, you will be advised; otherwise, stay out!
2. The coordinates provided will get you within sight of the Quilt Blocks. Some further away than others.
3. As always, be safe, and watch for traffic.

This Quilt Block is on a local Grange Hall. The colors selected are associated with the Fraternal Order of the Grange. The “P of H” in the middle of each star stands for Patrons of Husbandry: A symbol of the Grange and its beginning in the farming community of our State and Nation. Look at the building to the north of the gate.
