Our Boy Scout Troop 523 held a Geocache Merit Badge course at the Ironstone Park, so it’s fitting that this group of Scouts place a cache at the park. The group, about 15 Scouts, voted on the cache name and selected the LZ and each Scout was involved in the cache process either by bringing some SWAG, one made the log, another selected the container, and as a group they decided on the difficulty, terrain and size ratings. Most of the group found the other caches at the park as well. Our Troop enjoys this park throughout the year and we hope you do too; we meet here regularly, camp here, and if you have a moment look for some of the few Eagle Projects the Scouts have done over the years. We hope you enjoy this cache and please find the others in the park, happy caching!
