Unusual positioned stones, abgekürzt UPS, dt. ungewöhnlich positionierte Steine, sind eines der typischen Erkennungsmerkmale von (meist einfacheren) Geocache-Verstecken.
Von Nicht-Cachern so gut wie nie wahrgenommen, offenbaren sie dem geübten Geocacher-Auge jedoch oft schnell die gesuchte Dose.
Dieser Cache ist einer dieser typischen UPS: Für Cacher ein schnell und einfach zu findender Cache, ideal neben einer Wanderung zu heben, für Muggel nur ein weiterer Haufen Steine.
Die Terrain-Wertung ergibt sich rein aus dem notwendigen Aufstieg zum Laudachsee (welcher vom GH Silberfuchs / GH Franzl im Holz knapp über eine Stunde einnimmt). Es bietet sich auch eine Fahrt mit der Seilbahn an, mit einer anschließenden, großteils ebenen Wanderung (1h) bis zum Laudachsee. Der Final ist auch problemlos für Kinder geeignet.

Unusual positioned stones, short UPS, are one of the typical signs for a (most of the time easy hidden) geocache.
While non-cachers nearly never perceive such UPS, they are spotted by experience cachers in no time and guide the way to the hidden box.
This cache is a typical UPS: For cachers it's a fast and easy to find cache, ideal to grab during a hiking trip, for muggles it's just another pile of stones.
The terrain rating is only due to the needed walk to the Laudachsee (which takes about 1 hour if you start the the inn Silberfuchs / inn Franzl im Holz). It is also possible to use the ropeway, with a following, mostly level walk of ~1h to the Laudachsee. The final can be visited without problems together with kids.
