Geocache Description:

A series that will take you along trails, accessed from Wellington Rd, in Queens County, Nova Scotia. Some parts of the trails may be thick bush, so be prepared. Along part of the trail that is quite easily accessed.


Wellington was settled after W.F. Freeman and James A. Freeman bought land here in 1827 and like other communities in Nova Scotia, was named after the British general, who defeated Napoleon at Waterloo. Lumbering was the main industry.
