~ I love Poletown ~
On a recent Saturday drive, I passed several volunteers of the 'Neighbourhood Service Organization' beautifying the Ferry Chene Market. They were landscaping the grounds, while a couple of others were painting a farm mural on the side of their home office. I declare, beautiful people doing wonderful work.
I had no idea this market even existed, & here it's been sitting in one capacity or another since 1850. My friend Geri said when she saw the images I posted of the grounds. "I use to go there every Saturday with my family, back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth." Well Geri, someday families will be able to share your experience, as new life is being pumped into the area, thanx to Recovery Farms & The NSO.
