Geocache Description:

Let's give a hearty Alaskan Welcome cachers Nick and his wife Sian, also known as sTeamTraen! of France. I have crossed paths with Nick and Sian on two continents in three countries and now have the opportunity to show off the Great Land.

I attended my first Stammtisch Event when visiting Nick in Strasbourg, France, in December 2014, and brought the concept home to Alaska. Nick is one of the Groundspeak Volunteer Reviewers for France. Since French did not have a good word for "Reviewer," he coined the geonickname riviouveur, which is a reasonable phonetic equivalent to the English term.

What: Dinner, beverages, bling, and fellowship
When: Saturday, September 17, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Where: Gallo's Mexican Restaurant, 8615 Old Seward Highway
How: Dutch treat, order off the regular menu or the kids' menu.

Please add a “Will Attend” log to this page if you plan to attend so the friendly staff at Gallo's Mexican Restaurant can plan accordingly and you will receive event announcements. If your plans change and you can't attend, please update your status with a "Note" to the event page. An accurate headcount is very important for the restaurant to provide our large group with quality service.
