These hillsides are full of challenging caches, about 30 of them. This one will be farther W than most. How to approach it? Maybe from above if you're already up there searching for the higher caches. Or come up from the road/trail from below that leads to the "Phone a Friend" (GC6HYZ3) cache and then go westward?
It's a challenging walk, bring plenty of water if it's hot and wear good hiking boots, cheat grass abounds. Shorts are not recommended. The cache is a small camo'd plastic jar in a small nook, covered by a rock about the size of two fists. It is about 4 or 5 ft beyond a distinctive weathered sage root (see photo) that sags down the hillside over a rock. Please replace the cache exactly as found. Oh - and have fun!
